“Im fine” - How to Ask for Help When Words Feel Hard

We get it—sometimes saying “I’m fine” feels easier than explaining what’s really going on. But keeping it all inside? That gets exhausting.

If words feel too hard, try this instead:

-Text it: "I don’t know how to talk about it, but I need some support."

-Say this: "Can we hang out? I don’t feel like talking, but I don’t want to be alone either."

-Write it down and hand it to someone you trust.

Asking for help doesn’t mean you need to have all the words figured out. Start small. Someone wants to listen.
