How does virtual therapy work?

We offer secure, HIPAA-compliant virtual therapy through TheraPlatform, a user-friendly online platform. Sessions are conducted via video from the comfort of your own space, making it easier to fit therapy into your schedule. You’ll receive guidance on logging in and using the platform, and our team is always available to troubleshoot any technical issues. Please note that clients must be physically located in North Carolina to participate in virtual sessions.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes! We accept many major insurance providers, including BCBS, Cigna, United Healthcare, Aetna, MedCost, Carelon Behavioral Health, and Quest Behavioral Health. Keep in mind that there can be variation in which insurance each clinician accepts. When pairing you with a therapist, we take your insurance into consideration and will disclose any limitations if you request a specific clinician.

What if I don’t have insurance?

No problem! We offer a variety of self-pay options, and the cost varies depending on the clinician you choose. We will work with you to match you with a therapist whose self-pay rate fits your needs.
